Springwater, Elmvale & Midhurst

Fingerprinting for Springwater Township, the easy way.

Springwater Township wraps around the north and west of Barrie, taking in Midhurst, Elmvale, Minesing, Anten Mills and Hillsdale. For most Springwater residents our office is genuinely the nearest RCMP-accredited fingerprinting location there is — roughly 15 minutes, and often a shorter run than crossing Barrie itself.

It is a mix of established rural communities and fast-growing commuter subdivisions, and demand here skews toward employment and volunteer screening: people commuting to jobs in Barrie and the GTA, and the schools, minor sports organizations, care homes and community groups that ask volunteers for a check.

Two Ways To Get It Done

Come to us, or we come to you.

Groups of 5+

On-site mobile service

Mobile service is built for employers and organizations fingerprinting a group on-site. Minimum 5 people, with custom pricing based on location and group size — so it is not the same price as an individual walk-in. If it's just you, the Barrie office is faster and cheaper.

Fingerprinting in Springwater Township — common questions.

At our RCMP-accredited office at 231 Bayview Dr, Unit 202 in Barrie — about 15 minutes via Highway 26. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours for both digital LiveScan and ink fingerprinting, with free parking on site. For groups of five or more we bring mobile LiveScan to your location instead.
Midhurst is about 10 minutes and Elmvale about 20 — call it 15 minutes on average from Springwater, straight in along Highway 26. Free parking on site, and walk-ins are welcome during business hours, so most Springwater residents are in and out inside half an hour door to door.
Two valid government-issued photo IDs — a passport and driver's licence, or passport and PR card, for example — plus any request letter from your employer, IRCC, or whoever asked for the check. The appointment itself takes about 10–15 minutes.
If a Canadian body is asking, it's almost always digital LiveScan, submitted electronically to the RCMP. If the FBI or a foreign government is asking, it's almost always an ink card. Read your letter for "certified criminal record check" (digital) versus "fingerprint card" or "FD-258" (ink) — or call and read it to us before you drive.
No — walk-ins are welcome Monday to Friday 9:00AM–5:00PM. We are also open Saturday and Sunday 9:00AM–1:00PM by appointment; call first. If you are driving in from out of town, booking online means you won't wait.
Digital LiveScan submissions are transmitted to the RCMP electronically and results are typically issued in days. Ink cards are completed the same visit and handed to you — the authority you submit them to sets its own processing time.
